The Michigan High School Math and Science Symposium

The Michigan High School Math and Science Symposium (MHSMSS) is an organization dedicated to giving high school students a forum to present their math and science research findings in a professional setting. Presentations will be critiqued by peers and adults, but not judged.

Who is eligible to present? Grade 9–12 public, private or home school students in Michigan.

Held in April each year at GVSU.

All attendees, presenters and observers, must pre-register including Teachers, Student Observers, Mentors, Parents.

MHSMSS is an independent successor organization to the Michigan Junior Academy of Science. The MHSMSS is sponsored by the Regional Math and Science Center at Grand Valley State University. Financial support is provided by the Southwest Michigan Alliance of Mathematics, Science and Technology Centers.
