Neil Ray Washburn
Son of Tim and Julie Washburn of Byron Center, Michigan

We, Tim and Julie Washburn, are grateful for our son Neil’s patience with us as first time parents and teachers! Neil is our oldest child. He has four brothers and one sister and together they have been home-schooled from the beginning. Neil came to know Christ at age five. He attends both Madison Square CRC and Mars Hill and is grateful for good and godly friends in each place. Neil enjoys music and reading. He’s marched as a drummer in the Northern Lights Homeschool Band in
Washington, D.C. He and his dad have labored through many an automotive project – and still love each other! Neil has completed ground school and soloed in an airplane. He’s gifted mechanically and plans to pursue a degree in aviation maintenance. He is greatly loved by his family.

Neil, you know the truth, may you be a light in your generation.

Amy Willard

daughter of Dean and Deb Willard of Isabella, Michigan

Amy Marie Willard is the oldest of Dean and Debra Willard's three daughters. She has been homeschooled for nine years, during which time music has played an important role in her life. She loves to sing with her sisters and has continued to develop her skills as a violinist. As a freshman she joined the Chippewa Hills High School Orchestra and was concert master this year. She has competed with her violin in Talents for Christ the past 2 years receiving 2nd place and 1st place in state competition. She plans to attend Pensacola Christian College this fall and major in Nursing. Our prayer for Amy is that she will build on the foundation that has already been laid in her life and remain in the center of God's will.
