Emily Granger
Currently staying in Middleville, Michigan

God blessed us with Emily almost 18 years ago.  She earned membership to the National Honor Society as well as lettering in swimming and playing flute with the marching band in her sophomore year at Thornapple Kellogg High School.  She has since been homeschooled aboard the sailing vessel "Faith" as we circumnavigate the globe, where, in addition to the core study areas, she has become a competent sailor and navigator, as well as gaining an appreciation for other cultures.  We pray that God continues to work his purpose in your life. Emily plans on returning to Darwin, Australia, where "Faith" is currently berthed, to complete our world voyage through the Indian Ocean, Red Sea, Mediterranean, and Atlantic Ocean over the next couple of years, before entering university.

Zachary David Huizenga, Holland

Zachary was born on March 24, 1987, in Ulsan, South Korea. He was adopted about six months later and came to reside in Holland, Michigan. Though Zachary was homeschooled throughout his entire life, he did not receive all of his schooling at home, he dual-enrolled at Hope College and took Visual Communications at Careerline Tech Center.

He quickly developed a love for art,. A skill that took longer to develop but became nearly as strong is ability to write. When was still in grade school, a trip to a local beach changed his life. A pristine Lamborghini Diablo idles and revved in the parking lot. Though Zachary was ignorant of the car’s name, the sight of the black, low-set wide, brutish car ignited a passion for fast cars that only blossomed as he grew.

Finally, music has in the last few years became a deep love for him.
Zachary has been accepted by the John Wesley Honors College of Indiana, Wesleyan University where he plans to dual-major in graphic design and English with a focus on writing.
