HSB Connections - Graduates 2005

Christopher Paul Persons, Grandville

Christopher is the oldest son of Gregg and Miriam Persons and has always been educated at home. He loves music and played his alto saxophone in a concert band and a jazz band through high school. He is now a drummer in another band he and some friends started. For the past 2 years he's been at Kent Career Technical Center in the Agri science program and will receive MCN certification this spring. He plans on going to GRCC this fall and eventually hopes to study landscape architecture at Michigan State.

Erik Russell, Rockford, Michigan

Eric Daniel Russell has been homeschooled for six years, since fifth grade. His interests include writing for personal and possibly for professional means as well as collecting science fiction and fantasy novels. He has an adult volunteer leadership position in the Boy Scouts of America, local council of Gerald R. Ford and is also an active member in his youth group at Belmont Baptist Church. He is planning on attending a missions trip this summer in the Upper Peninsula. He plans on working for a year and then attending ITT Technical Institute in computer repair and general digital multimedia, specializing in animation and design.
